FALL: My Makeup Must Haves

I'm no MUA but I really love to “put on a face” in the mornings if I get the chance. The seasons have changed, and it's a bit easier to put on a face in the cooler months. Although, I have found that the older I get the more I want convenience while still feeling chic. So, I had to find a way to make my makeup routine work for me. I'm pretty basic when it comes to applying but I'm ok with that. If all else fails for me, I just wash your face and throw on some lipstick and mascara which always does the trick!

Here are some of the makeup Must Haves that I can't live without:

Light Foundation

I always start with a clean face and apply a spray or cream-based primer. Using a primer always helps my foundation look more like my skin. I recently tried the IL MAKIAGE brand- I Woke Up Like This Flawless base, and I love it. You take a skin test online and once you're matched, it comes directly to your doorstep.

Highlighter

This is a trendier product but I'm a fan of the dewy skin look for life! I cannot get enough of a good highlighter! I've been faithfully using Becca- Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop-HERE. It's an oldie but goodie that I always get compliments on!

Blush

I have a few favorites that I swing back and forth from, but I like a good rouge to help me look alive on those extra tired mornings. Most of the shades I use vary in tones from flesh colors to a pop of pink. I use classic powder blush and the convenient stick kind. I have a few on rotation form Fenty and Too Faced.

Brow Pencil/Filler

I can't even look at myself without it on anymore. Period. Once I can fully trust the outdoors again, I'll be first in line for a touchup Microblading session. For now, I am obsessed with two brands because of the simplicity of them. The NYX Micro Brow Pencil found HERE or the BENEFIT Brow pencil called Goof Proof found HERE.

Mascara

I usually settle on anything Covergirl when it comes to mascara because they have such a variety at an unbeatable cost! I'm trying to venture out and am open to ideas so I've been using this Amazon find, Lash Princess. Its a best seller, all natural and only $5! Find it HERE.

Lipstick

I don’t care if I have nothing else on when I head into the office, I will always wear lipstick and mascara. I'm currently loving my NYX Matte shades of red and pink. There is no such thing as too many lipsticks because really, they are all SO DIFFERENT.
