Get It In When You Can

Since there is a tiny, little, bossy person who runs my life, I don’t always get the opportunity to get in the type of workout that I truly deserve. I mean, I’d love to spend some uninterrupted time working out, but this is not always the case. So, I get it in where and when I can! I have to-go move that I can do while chase my kid, cleaning, doing the laundry or even brushing my teeth. I mean, we have to use our precious time wisely out here! And, these few tricks have proven to be rather effective if I do say so myself.

  1. Do leg lifts while brushing your teeth. I can get in 2-3 sets of 10 on each leg before I’m done brushing! Talk about killing 2 birds with 1 stone! Toned legs and great hygiene! #Winning

  2. Wear a resistance band around your thighs while cleaning the house. Yep! Why waste a trip or 20 walking up and down the stairs or chasing your kid? Getting in steps and trimming thighs! #KillinIt

  3. Wear ankle and/or wrist weights while doing everyday household tasks. Fold a couple of loads of laundry, vacuum, or pick up the mess your kid has made wearing weights on your wrists. Hello shoulders and toned arms! #YouGotThis

Sometimes, it’s the little things that count! Who am I kidding…all of the little things always count!
